Services: Parker Psychological Services provides psychological testing and supportive, cognitive, and behavioral therapy to clients age 65 and over and their families in the comfort of their homes. Services are provided to individuals who have a mental health issue and/or a cognitive disorder, such as a mild cognitive impairment or dementia. Services are also provided to individuals under the age of 65 who are suffering from a cognitive disorder, such as a mild cognitive impairment or dementia. Parker Psychological Services also provides supportive and behavioral interventions to individuals and their caregivers and/or family if they desire to keep their loved one at home or if they are seeking an out-of-home living environment. All services are currently provided in Washington and Frederick County Initial Assessment Follow-up Sessions

Services: Provides free and reduced-cost linkage with licensed mental health professionals for uninsured and under-insured families, couples and individuals of any age. Therapists in private practice volunteer their time to assure that all those who live or work in Maryland have access to mental health care. Outreach for specific at risk populations assures that members of the military and their loved ones, caregivers for loved ones with long term illnesses, folks diagnosed with cancer and their family members, victims of violence, single parents and seniors who are sad, grieving, have lost interest in daily activities, have family problems, have been financially exploited or have other problems a counselor can help to work on are invited to contact the Pro Bono Counseling Project for intake and referral to licensed and insured mental health professionals and related services. A Public Service Project of: Maryland Chapter, NASW; Maryland Psychiatric Society; Maryland Psychological Association; Maryland Society for Clinical Social Work, Inc.; Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurses of Maryland; Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors of Maryland; Maryland Association of Marriage & Family Therapists.

Eligible Persons: TCM-Individual must have chronic mental health diagnosis and reside in Washington County and have Primary Adult Care or Medicaid. ECMH is for Children ages 0-5 with behavioral and/or mental health issues and have Medicaid of MCHP insurance. JDC referrals come from the Program Coordinator as governed by the Washington County Court. IHBH referrals come through DSS. JLC referrals are open from anyone in the tri-state area that needs geriatric care services. L & L is open to the public through various programs or private pay.. Exclusions to Eligible Persons: N/A. Referral Process: Single point of entry. Mail or fax referral form or call to initiate the referral process. Once referral information is received, an intake interview and assessment is completed within (5) working days. Fees: Sliding Scale Fee. Payment: Cash, Medicaid, Medicare, and Grant funding by the Washington County Mental Health Authority. Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday.

Exclusions to Eligible Persons: History of prior psychiatric hospitalizations and/or conditions which result in need for supports beyond the scope of the agency. Accessibility of Service: Handicap accessible for physical, sight, and hearing handicaps. Program offers interpreters for hearing impaired consumers. Referral Process: Call for screening.
